During the late 1960’s, the only entity that displayed the diversity of musical genres better than Top 40 radio was a group appropriately named The Band with musical influences that ranged from American Folk to Rock, Country to Classical, Psychedelic to Soul, Oompah to OMG vocal harmonies.
The Last Waltz is a tribute to The Band’s farewell concert with 21 of the Chicago area’s top musicians to craft and recreate this powerful piece of rock n’ roll history. This has never been a sad ending, but rather a celebration.
