Singer/Songwriter Carla Cooke is the youngest daughter of Soul Icon Sam Cooke. She will be performing an intimate, reflective tribute to her father, showcasing all of his classic hits, such as Chain Gang, A Change is Gonna Come, You Send Me, Cupid, and more! With a strong vocal range and warm personality, Carla’s stage presence commands the environment wherever she performs. She is joined by her father’s best friend, fellow musician, and Rock &Roll and R&B Hall of Famer, Billy Davis. Singing back up vocals will be Carla’s daughters and niece, Shantel, Princess, and Faith.
Not only will Carla salute her father, she will also be premiering new originals off of her new upcoming album, meeting with the audience, and having a Q & A session after her two 50-minute sets! You do not want to miss this truly rare experience.
